hover to acquaint you that no discretion is left with the Agents General as to the as
to the amount due by
you
to the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty for messing on bound the Steam Transport Mauritius in 1861. I have therefore to request you to be good enough to pay the sam of £43 to me as soon as possible
in order that the Admiralty may be reimbursed in obedience to the
Jum
inchuctions of the Secretary of State for the Colonies..
I may add that any counter claimi
have agained the Portoffice Authorities should be preferred against
that Department. _
